EGATIN Study Days in Aarhus: April 2024

On April 26th to 28th,2024, I participated in the annual EGATIN Study Days at Diaconal University College in Aarhus, Denmark, focusing on the theme "In Times of Disruption – Who and What is Group Analysis for and Where are We Going in Group Analytic Training?".

In an era marked by global crises, Group Analysis plays a crucial role in supporting vulnerable groups and patients with mental health disorders within Europe’s Public Health Systems. The economic downturn and the need for efficient, cost-effective interventions present significant challenges for the advancement of group analytic practice both internationally and in Greece.

Despite these obstacles, the establishment of a National Network for Group Analytic Practice in Greece offers hope for further solidifying the profession and underscoring its value in the Mental Health sector. The conference provided a platform for engaging with international professionals and exchanging knowledge and insights.

Attending this conference was a unique opportunity to connect with fellow professionals and share invaluable knowledge and experiences.
